We are excited to invite you for the DIG meeting in 2021 to be held in Faro, Portugal, from the 17th-21st of May.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

Abstract submission: January 15th 2021, 18:00 GMT +0.00.

Final decision face-to-face vs virtual meeting: February 15th 2021

Registration: from February 15th 2021 to March 15th 2021, 18:00 GMT +0.00.

The Call for Abstracts is now open. Abstracts must be submitted via this form by January 15th 2021. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.

An author can submit only one paper as presenting author. Please specify your preferred type of presentation (Oral/Poster).

– Oral presentations (15 minutes) should address topics in theoretical, methodological or applied geoarcheological research, including the results of recent fieldwork or laboratory experiments.

– Poster presentations are particularly appropriate for research results that can be described graphically. Posters are especially encouraged for presentations of quantitative or preliminary data. Posters will be displayed for theĀ full duration of the Conference, and specific time slots for poster discussion will be scheduled.

In case more abstracts are submitted for oral presentations than can be accommodated in the program, the organizers will determine whether the paper will be accepted for oral or poster presentation, and communicate the decision to the presenting author by February 15th. Please note that there will be ample time for discussion of posters built into the conference schedule.

There is no fee for submission of an abstract. However, you must register and pay the registration fee by the deadline of March 15th 2021, for the abstract to be included in the DIG2021 programme.

You can register for the DIG2021 conference from February 15th by clicking here. Please note that current registration fees correspond to a face-to-face conference. In case of a virtual meeting, fees will be reduced to minimal costs (decision by February 15th).
